Posh Cheese are based in Bedale, North Yorkshire and stand every week on four markets across our beautiful home county of North Yorkshire. We stock a wide range of the freshest cheeses from all across the UK and further afield. We specialise in highlighting local cheesemakers.
Our cheeses are so popular that we often have a queue of customers at peak times but you can beat the queue by pre-ordering online. This way you can also guarantee to get the cheeses you want.

Bedale market is one of the longest-running markets in Yorkshire having had a charter since 1251. Bedale which is our home town, boasts an interesting selection of independent shops and cafes, a 13th Century church and some fine examples of Georgian architecture.
Ripon is a small historic cathedral city and although the oldest city in England., it is also the fourth smallest. There is a busy Thursday market with around 30 stalls in the central Market Place in addition to a good range of shops, cafes and restaurants.
Stokesley was granted a charter to hold fairs in 1223 and has been the home to a vibrant Friday market since. The historic High Street is lined with independent small shops and restaurants. Away from the centre there are walks along the banks of the River Leven which runs close to the town.
Masham Market Place is said to be one of the largest in England. Elegant Georgian houses stand around its edge with an ancient cross and cobbled area at its centre.
The town is the home to two breweries, some interesting shops, cafes and a thriving Saturday market which hosts up to 40 stalls
