We are a small Yorkshire business, based in the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales. We always proudly stock a wide range of delicious hand-made Yorkshire artisan cheeses on our counter and website.
For The Masham Sheep Fair weekend (30th September - 1st October) and while stocks last, we will be extending our range of Yorkshire ewe's milk cheeses We have selected some special guest cheeses, to join all your old favourites, from the very best artisan producers from all over the county of Yorkshire. The selection will include cheeses by Olianas from Otley, The Ribblesdale Cheese Company, Hawes, Shepherds Purse, Thirsk and Lacey's Dairy, Reeth.
This young cheese is creamy soft with a yoghurt flavour made with Yorkshire Ewe's milk and matured for 30 days. This is a multi-award winning cheese including Super Gold World Cheese Awards; Gold International Cheese Award and Gold Artisan Cheese Award. This cheese is gorgeous in salads, or simply taking pride of place on a cheese board.

This cheese is produced using ewes milk from a farm in Harrogate,North Yorkshire. It is perfectly aged for 30 days, producing a beautifully rich, creamy and semi-piquant flavour. Leeds Blue is a multi-award winner, including: Gold World Cheese Awards; Gold International Cheese Awards; Gold Artisan Cheese Awards; Gold and Silver at the World Cheese Awards.

A lovely aged raw ewes milk cheese aptly named Fallen Monk. It is a 14-week-old hard-pressed sheep milk cheese with a texture between a Wensleydale and a Cheddar. Very moreish with superb flavour. This delicious artisan cheese is made by expert cheesemaker Simon Lacey.

A hand-pressed newly-created sheep cheese which echoes the cheeses made by Cistercian monks at Jervaulx Abbey. The recipe follows the ancient methods of making Wensleydale cheese using raw ewe’s milk. This is a light delicious artisan cheese made by expert cheesemaker Simon Lacey.

Mrs Bell's Blue is made from the finest quality sheep milk, produced in small vats and after the first 24 hours of turning and formation, each cheese is salted by hand then matured for a minimum of 10 weeks.
