A superb artisan Dales cheese produced in the village of Wensley, Wensleydale by Ben Spence.  He is the only artisan cheesemaker in Wensleydale.  Old Roan is made using raw milk to a slow traditional recipe, resulting in a cheese that is smooth and creamy. 

 The Swaledale Cheese Company, has been making the finest artisan cheeses for over 30 years. They use only the finest local milk for their cheeses which is sourced from their local farm in the heart of Swaledale. All their cheeses are without preservatives and are suitable for vegetarians. 

Award-winning cheese from a great North Yorkshire cheesemaker who operates near Thirsk. We stock Shepherd's Purse's soft and creamy Yorkshire Blue and their stronger Harrogate Blue, A firm favourite of blue cheese-lovers!

An award-winning artisan cheese maker based in Hawes, in the Yorkshire Dales. They specialise in goat cheese and a little sheep cheese and are an unashamedly micro dairy, where everything is very hands on.

Based in the beautiful village of Mordon in County Durham, Parlour Made Artisan Cheese is made on the family farm using traditional methods.

They use their our own milk to create each handmade cheese using traditional recipes.

They now have a range of artisan cheeses of exceptional quality and taste.

 The Wensleydale Creamery, based at Hawes in Wensleydale , is home of the famous crumbly Yorkshire Wensleydale cheese

and a popular Visitor Centre.

They produce around 4000 tonnes of cheese a year. Their range includes many flavoured cheeses, such as Wensleydale & Cranberries, as well as Coverdale and smoked cheese.

  Joan Cross has been making Cotherstone to a recipe handed down from her mother for over 30 years. Initially she made it in her kitchen in Barnard Castle, County Durham, leaving the milk to sour naturally in a big milk churn. Things have moved on a bit since then, but she still makes it in very small batches at Quarry Farm in Middleton-in-Teesdale. This is a very rare cheese. It's made with pasteurised cow's milk and is similar to a Wensleydale in that its moist and crumbly with a lemony tang.
